Your parents have been talking to me and say you have been a great role model by not smoking, drinking excessively or doing drugs.  I also hear you are good at sport so I am writing to you today to let you know that you are going to the top of my teenager list.
This list is for those that have excelled in life and because of that one of the many suggestions you have given Mum and Dad will come to fruition.

I have been told that you no longer believe in Santa but that is fine as I believe in you as a good person and that is really important.

Keep up your good work at school and sports and enjoy spending time with your friends.

Remember there are many children younger than you that still enjoy seeing Santa and receiving presents in his name.

On Christmas night when you put your presents around the Christmas tree you may realise like the rest of us that there is a little bit of Santa in everyone.

Hello little one.  I am very happy to see that I have another precious child to add to my “nice” Christmas list!   This year, Christmas is almost as special as you being your very first Christmas.

Santa loves to bring presents to all good babies and children which of course includes you!  The elves and I have loaded my sleigh with a small gift especially for you, even though I expect you will prefer to play with the colorful paper it is wrapped in.  I will put your present under your Christmas tree and on Christmas morning you get to help Mommy and Daddy tear the wrapping paper to see what surprises I have left you.

I’m looking forward to being able to come to your place to give you presents on Christmas Eve.  I hope I do not make any noise when the sleigh lands on your roof and I also hope I am not too big to come down the chimney Ha Ha.

I am writing to you to let you know how much of a good boy/girl I think you have been this year and to say thank you for the letter that you recently sent to me.   Christmas is such a special time, a time for giving and for sharing. Here at The North Pole we have been working very hard to make sure we are ready for Christmas Eve, when I have to visit all the little boys and girls in the World bringing presents and gifts.

Its almost time for me and the Reindeer to leave for our epic journey on Christmas Eve.   Rudolph and the other Reindeer are excited about their journey around the World.   I haven’t managed to lose any weight – I’m still the same fat old Santa!   I think Mrs Claus makes me too much wonderful food, or maybe I should go on a diet.   I wouldn’t want to get stuck down someone’s chimney!

My elves tell me that you have worked very hard this year at School. Your hard work includes:

Ok (childs name), I must go now and get ready for my big trip around the world.  Be sure to go to bed early on Christmas Eve, because I only stop by when boys and girls are fast asleep in their beds. The reindeer and I will try to be very quiet when we land on your roof.

I hear you are getting excited about Christmas this year? So am I! Rudolph and all the other reindeers are anxiously waiting to pull my sleigh to your house on Christmas Day. We are very busy at the North Pole this time of year.  Mrs. Claus and I are relaxing for a few minutes before I head over to the workshop to check on the elves. They are in the workshop getting all the toys ready for me. There are so many toys and gifts, I hope I can fit them all in my sack!

Even though you’re getting excited, please be sure to get to bed early on Christmas Eve. Santa can’t stop at any houses if the boys and girls are wide awake. In the morning, you’ll see some presents under the tree.

I’m sure you have heard of my list of children who are naughty and children who are nice. Well, this year your name shows up on the “nice” list. Have a very Merry Christmas. I’ll see you on Christmas Eve when I drop in, but you’ll be fast asleep.

Rudolph and all his friends just whispered in my ear that the sleigh is almost packed.  He is getting excited waiting to lead the reindeer with my sleigh full of toys on our long trip to visit the homes of good boys and girls like you.   The elves are busy putting the finishing touches on the last of the presents.

I just had to take a minute to write to you and tell you that I am very pleased with the good reports I have received about you.  I see that you have (childs achievement). this year! The reindeer and I are planning to arrive in ( your town) just after  midnight to deliver your gifts. Please be sure to hang your stocking here I can see it easily and be in bed early as Christmas is such a busy day!  I like mince pies too.

Here we are at the North Pole busily preparing for Christmas Eve.  The elves are helping me with all the toys whilst Mrs. Claus is ironing my red suit so I look my best when sliding down all of those chimneys!   I’m writing to remind you to be a good  (boy/girl) and help out your parents as often as you can.

Mrs. Claus and I have been checking our list and seen that  you have done really well this year! We are so proud of you!
The elves and I agreed that you deserve to get something extra-special this year.   I’ve been told that you’re hoping to find a new  (name of gift)! when you wake up on Christmas morning.

I am going to check on the busy little elves in the workshop where they are making all the toys and gifts for the good boys and girls and are making sure there is something special for you (something you know they are getting) !  We will be loading the sleigh soon and heading your way!

It’s been a happy and wonderful year that we have shared together. This Christmas there is nothing more I can wish for you but for your good health and  success in your  life.

Christmas is said to be a time for sharing and joy and a season of love. And to make true on that notion, I would like to share with you my love and sincerity as a friend. I have been blessed to have you in my life. You have shown me the right path and you have given me the right advice.  Because of that I swear to treasure our friendship.

Dear Child,

As you get older, I am more and more proud of you. You are growing up to be a unique, caring person.

You are special in so many ways, not the least of which is because you are honorable and always try to do what is right. I am so glad you are part of my life!

When you were younger, you believed in Santa Claus and that makes the holidays so much fun !

Now, you are part of the “spirit of Christmas,” the special effort that older children and adults make during the December holidays. We are all part of this effort to create wonderful holidays for our families. We plan special gifts, cook and bake traditional foods, decorate the tree, sing holiday songs, put on plays, attend religious ceremonies, and act like Santa Claus for the little ones.

Everyone who makes this effort is part of the spirit of Christmas (or Hanukkah or Kwanza). In this way, we all create Santa Claus, who is the embodiment of the spirit of the holidays. And, because we do this, Santa Claus, for one day, becomes real.
