Hi, My name is Chris and I am a great lover of Christmas. This website is for all of us to bring back memories of years gone by and to make memories for our children and grandchildren.
My childhood was spent in England where I was born and my memories are of winter, snow, ice skating, snowball fights and Christmas dinner with our extended family and then sitting by the open fire. Carollers came round before Christmas and were duly rewarded, sometimes with money but more often than not with a warm drink and biscuits to help them fend off the cold.
As a teenager our family migrated to Australia where I still happily reside. The difference at Christmas time was enormous as it was the other side of the world and of course in the middle of summer. We found most spent Christmas Day at the beach or had a barbie in the backyard. Traditional roast turkey dinners popularity waned but not for me. Regardless of the temperature we still go traditional and I love it.
